INCUMBENT Liberal member Sussan Ley has shot to a big lead in the early hours of the vote count and looks likely to have an iron grip on the seat.
Despite a swing of over 8 per cent against her after the first 2000 votes counted, Mrs Ley has captured more than 55 per cent of the total, giving her a big lead over her nearest challengers, Independent Louise Burge and Country Labor's Christian Emmery who are neck and neck.
All other candidates have so far polled less than 100 votes each.
