20 Mar 08 | Despite the warm weather, racegoers at the annual Commander Holbrook Cup Race Meeting last Saturday came out in large numbers, with an estimated crowd of 2500, well in excess of last year’s attendance. Acknowledging the St. Patrick’s Day theme, many dressed in the traditional green, while others took the opportunity, particularly the young ladies, to show off their finery.
